10-5 Gravity

       Gravity

Wrists and ankles chained: temporal

And eternal stretch time,

From the heart to the pectoral—

Thin as a train over a dime.

A stroke or car—aim at their marks

At me or you tonight:

Disintegrate in waves and quarks;

Or live forever in bloom or in blight.
