The inspiration of this is obvious. What every gun owner knows (and I have a handgun solely for home protection) is holding a gun welds power over life and instant death. I think in part, this is the fascination and obsession for men–power. Bigger more lethal guns = more power. For those mass murderers, it’s not mental illness but moral illness.
